  • Named Seattle’s Defender of the Year after starting 25 of 26 matches and notching two goals and two assists in 2009

MLS Experience

  • 2009: Voted by teammates as club’s Defensive Player of the Year. Started 25 of 26 regular season appearances, playing the full 90 minutes in 22 for Seattle. Started in second playoff leg at HOU (11/8). Offensive threat on the end of set plays in the attacking third. Finished with two goals and two assists on the year. Scored first goal with club, the equalizer in 1-1 draw at CHI (5/2). Recorded first career one goal/one assist game in 3-2 playoff clinching win at KC (10/17). Played all 120 minutes in U.S. Open Cup semifinal vs. HOU (7/21), but missed final with strained hamstring. His overhead kick on the goal line at CLB (10/3) was voted MLS Save of the Week and a finalist for Save of the Year. Missed two games due to call in to Jamaica National Team for Gold Cup.
  • 2008: Played in 24 games with 23 starts. Played all 90 minutes 21 times. Committed 16 fouls and suffered 15 fouls.
  • 2007: Marshall appeared in 16 games for Toronto, all as a starter, logging 1440 minutes. Scored lone goal of the season as a member of the Galaxy (5/12).
  • 2006: Appeared in 25 games for the Galaxy, all as a starter. Played a key role in the Galaxy’s franchise record 521-minute shutout streak.
  • 2005: Appeared in 25 regular season matches, all as a starter. Collected a goal and two assists in those games. Strong play earned honors as the club’s Defender of the Year and a spot on the MLS All-Star team.
  • 2004: Missed time due to a sprain of his medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
  • 2003: Appeared in 25 games for the Galaxy, making 19 starts. Named an MLS All-Star for the first time in his career.
  • 2002: Appeared in 24 games, making 19 starts. Registered a career-high five assists.
  • 2001: Appeared in 23 games in final season with Miami, and scored three goals and two assists.
  • 2000: Played in 23 games, making 21 starts. Missed six games to play for the Jamaica National Team.
  • 1999: Played in a career-high 28 games, starting 25. Registered career-highs with four goals and five assists.
  • 1998: Made MLS debut with the Colorado Rapids (7/11), only appearance with the club before being sent to Miami in a trade. Scored his first MLS goal against the Chicago Fire (9/2).

International Experience

Marshall has been a fixture on the Jamaican National Team since making his debut in a friendly against Romania on May 17, 2000. Has made 69 appearances for Jamaica in his career and has scored five, including the game-winner against Trinidad and Tobago in that qualifying round of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Started and played every minute of three 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup group games, and returned to Kingston to play full 90 in 2010 (1/31) friendly win over Canada. He also held a spot in the starting XI during qualifying for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Georgetown College Soccer Camp

5 - 8pm | Lisle Rd. Soccer Complex, Georgetown KY

The Camp… features a unique and exciting opportunity for players at all levels to enjoy a week of soccer fun including a variety of skill instruction and games from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Daily activities will conclude with team scrimmages. Various prizes and awards will be presented throughout the week. Each participant will receive a Georgetown College Soccer Camp t-shirt and sling backpack!

The Instructors… Georgetown College coaching staff, former and current players

The Participants… All skill levels, ages 5 – 14 years

The Cost… $100 per player if registered by July 5. $125 for late registration. Any player associated with Adena FC will receive a $25 discount.

Required Attire… All participants must wear weather-appropriate shirt, shorts, shin guards, and soccer shoes. Participants must bring an appropriately sized soccer ball. Water and Gatorade will be provided.

Camp 2008

Georgetown College Men's Camp

The Camp… will be for all players for all skill levels. The focus for this camp will be on technical skill development. Each day will consist of technical training and activities for players to learn and use their skills.

The Instructors… Head Men's Coach Derek Willis and Assistant Coach Joshua Johnson, and former and current players

The Participants… All skill levels, ages 5 – 14 years

The Cost… $75 per player if registered by July 27th. $100 for late registration.

Required Attire… All participants must wear weather-appropriate shirt, shorts, shin guards, and soccer shoes. Participants must bring an appropriately sized soccer ball. Campers will also need to bring their own water or gatorade.
